In addition, any report queried by Nextel management could be instantaneously exported as a .CSV file (i.e.
fully supported by Microsoft Excel). Making use of Excel now provides management the ability to run
statistics, diagrams, flow charts, etc. This is used for customer services issues, inventory control as well as
market data. A wide variety of reports (over 500) are offered including marketing reports, rep compliance
reporting, date ranges, red flag reports and more.
Red Flags
Similar to the way in which reports were configured, the Red Flag function would enable management to
monitor and track all red flags generated by the system. Red flags could be sorted by type (i.e. Geo-fence
violations, store visit intervals, low inventory, etc.), by rep, by store, by retailer, by issue, etc.
Thresholds
Thresholds are configured and set for each individual retail location. Store visit intervals can be set as either
A, B or C representing A= weekly, B= bi-monthly, C= monthly. Each phone model will have its own
inventory threshold; geo-fencing between the store GPS location and the GPS location of the rep
submission is handled automatically by the AirMobility.net middleware technology.
Dynamic Marketing Forms
In addition to the regular survey in which an RAE would complete for each visit, this function enables
management from an area, regional or national level (per security level), to dynamically append additional
questions to the base form. The responses to these questions are aggregated into individual reports under the
report tab. Added questions can be removed at any time; any number of additional questions can be added
from any number of authorized people.
For example, if Senior Management of Nextel were interested in asking every RAE throughout Nextel’s
national retail group to track the lowest price cell plans from T-Mobile, Verizon and Cingular, a quick
survey could be added to the regular core questions. This information would be instantaneously added to
every handset used throughout the project thereby providing Nextel Corporate virtually real time analysis of
pricing their largest competitors as each RAE visits every store throughout the entire Nextel national retail
channel.
