Conclusion –
Valley Couriers is not only seeing a broad increase in productivity, their bank partners are finding the new
way of tracking data as a significant asset to the way in which they do business. Valley Couriers is now
planning on using the new platform as a way to potentially attract additional banks and other companies
who have a need to track data in this model.
The model in which this solution was provided was part of the www.AirMobility.Net product and service
line from Westlake Software. Westlake has created a platform in which data can be collected from virtually
any wireless device and platform and then provide multiple ways in which this data can be managed.
For Valley Couriers, there productivity increases are now making it possible to consider expanding their
service offerings, hiring additional drivers and finding new ways in which they could increase efficiencies
with their current wireless services such as adding a time card option to the data being collected to help
automate payroll, mileage counting on vehicles, GPS support and bar code reading.
Q3/2005 Follow Up – Valley Couriers recently upgraded their solution with Westlake to include a
automated reporting module around pick ups and drop offs that are to far out of the scheduled range. The
information requested is now gathered throughout the day and emailed in a .CSV format directly to the
operations manager of Valley Couriers for analysis.
